Weekly *Snipits*

Fun at the Park with my kiddlets!!!!!

The Kids have been waking up earlier and earlier lately. It's pitch black when they get up sadly so I had to ease our sorry, exhausted selves with some homemade Belgium waffles and my antique waffle iron.

I L*O*V*E this thing; gift from my hubby 2 years ago Christmas!!!

I'm making Valentine's Day Stockings for my kids to open Valentine's Morning. I also have tiny little mail boxes I am planning to stuff with a love letters and some chocolates!!!

I LOVE holidays. I always have. I used to do silly little things like this just for my husband before we had kids but now that we have kids it's SO MUCH MORE FUN!!!

My beautiful Girl!

The Hubby's Red Beans and Rice. Can't go wrong here!!!!!

The kiddlets; Too Cool for school!!

Our weekly M*I*R*A*C*L*E!!!!!!!
Thank you! Thank You!

I have decided I am in love with Quinoa.

You just throw anything on it or in it and it's amazing!!!!
How can this be? I must try one million recipes SWEET and SAVORY!!!!

Couch Picnic including fresh popped pop corn and strawberry banana smoothies!!!!

Drinking milk......strangely enough.   I love milk when I'm pregnant but when I'm not it totally grosses me out and I never drink it.

Ginger loves to read. She loves books. It makes me happy! There is such a wonderful world of magic and discovery there!

Just a reminder!! Keep it Simple!!!
Today I'm making a whole chicken in my crock pot. I have decided I need to get on the crock pot band wagon if I'm going to be having 3 kids 3 and under. It  might be the only way we survive. Plus as soon as I have the baby, I'll go gluten and dairy free for good breast feeding results so I need to start planning what I'm going to eat!!!!

I'm also going to try some creamy mashed sweet potatoes to go with!!
YUM, right?

In between the cooking adventures I am working on sterilizing my bathroom before baby #3 arrives but because I'm so big, I get winded really easily so it seems everything is hard these days.
Everyday I've been just a little. Like yesterday I cleaned the floor on my hands and knees. Today I'll start on the toilette or the sinks. I like to have things really clean and organized for when the baby comes! One step at a time!

 NESTING....gotta love it!

NOTE: My new friend Morgan from {Mama Loves Papa} is doing a whole series on marriage this month and I love it!!!

Today she is posting about the topic "friendship and romance"

Your kiddos are SO cute! I can't believe how big they are getting! It seems like Ginger was JUST born and now you're waiting on the arrival #3! :)

I despised milk before I got pregnant with Manuel! Once I became pregnant with him I couldn't drink enough of it, and still love it to this day. It's so funny what pregnancy can do to our minds and bodies! :)

Have a great day friend!

YOur kids are beautiful. I love the vintage look of the pictures. So pretty. I love quinoa too. I was introduced to it two years ago and have kept it in my house since. The Valentine stocking is such a cute idea. makes me want to send some to my nieces.

Lol...for some reason I read "fresh pooped pop corn" was sitting here for a few seconds trying to figure out what THAT meant haha.

2 Thins. I love Ginger's red shoes and I love the Valentine Stocking idea. I am totally stealing this. Lord knows I have enough felt around my house to make one for every kid in my neighborhood.

What beautiful photos! Your kids are just TOO cute!

Ok, you've inspired me to make a whole chicken in my crockpot. I have one in my fridge and the crockpot sounds a lot better than the oven!

Thank you so much for sharing about the series. And, thank you for sharing your love story!!!

Mmmm. I'm going to have to try a chicken in a crock pot too now. I generally don't eat chicken much and since we've gotten chickens I especially don't seem to eat it... They're pets to me now, but that sounds so comforting to me!

A couple things:

<3 quinoa, too! I have been mixing it with millet lately and just love the two combined! YUM!

I have 7 kiddos and the crockpot is my buddy! I try to do double duty things like chili one night followed by baked potatoes (yes, IN the crockpot, too) with leftover chili on top the next night!

I have to cook HUGE to feed all 7 kiddos but seriously, the crockpot is essential!

With four tweens and two busy grownups, our crockpot is in use at least once a week! The kids eat like they've never seen food at dinnertime!

I love quinoa too-it makes a great breakfast cereal too. YUM.
