Last night Tosh slept all the way through the night for the first time ever and whilst I should be jumping for joy I am actually sad; my last baby. I know everyone says the time flies by when the kids are young but it really does. I am so mindful of this and try to savor the moments when I can but still I am trapped in the "please stop time now" mode.
So yes finally at 6 months Tosh has decided to sleep in his crib all night. Le sigh. No more sleepless baby nights for me. I know, what am I complaining about? Soon I am sure I will be overwhelmed with other parent problems rather than sleepless nights. I am going to miss these years. I am already sentimental for them and their to even gone yet but by tomorrow they will be.
My little garden project is officially deemed a success as we ate sweet peas from it this week!!!!! The kids love it!
And we are equally as grateful for homegrown veggies from friends gardens too! I used this celery in a beef ragu that was delicious.
The husband works a lot! That is all on that front!
These boys, oh how they love each other so!!! I really never expected these boys to have developed such a deep bond in the 6 short months Tosh had been here. Little Milton just adores him. It's ridiculous really. They roll around on the floor together laughing hysterically. It amazes me really!
However, he was ice enough to make us blackened chicken that I had on a salad today for lunch!
How was your long weekend?
